Sir/Madam,
With reference to your application dated 27/08/2003 requesting registration under the Foreign Contribution(Regulation)Act, 1976.I am directed to say that your Association has been registered under section 6 (1) (a) of the act as follows:-

2. You are adviced to send intimations within the prescribed time to the central Government of the amounts of each foreign contribution received by you, the source and the manner in which the foreign contribution was utilized, as per the provisions of the FC(R) Act, 1976 and the rules framed there under. An association is required to furnish the return even when the particulars are ‘NIL’. The Bank Account mentioned in your application should be used for receiving foreign contribution and so other amount should be credited to this account. The Association should immediately intimate to this Ministry and obtained written confirmation regarding any change in the name of the Association, its address and Bank/Bank Account.
3.In case the association brings out any publication(registered under PRB Act,1876) or acts as correspondent, columnist, editor, printer or publisher of a registered newspaper at a later stage thereby attracting provisions of the section 4.(1) (b) of the FC(R) Act,1976, this fact should be reported to the Ministry immediately,
4. You should also ensure before any fund are passed on to any person/association in India that that the recipient is (i) eligible to accept foreign. |
